Te Kaharoa is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal dedicated to Māori, Pasifika and Indigenous research, scholarship and creative work. Hosted by the Faculty of Te Ara Poutama at Auckland University of Technology, Te Kaharoa publishes writings in Te Reo Māori and English, and Pasifika languages can be used in submitted work (refer to guidance for authors).

Te Kaharoa publishes research articles, reflections, commentaries, editorials, creative works, film and book reviews, and digital and sound recordings. We welcome submissions of original content from researchers, artists, and creative writers of Indigenous communities from Aotearoa, Te Moana nui a Kiwa (the Pacific Ocean), and across the world.
